Movavi Video Suite Review: An All In One Video Conversion Tool
We all love watching videos whether it’s movies, serials or games. It has become one of best leisure activities for all of us. With great improvements in video quality and affordable prices of official Blu-Ray Discs and DVDs, we all have our personal collections. A lot of tech savvy people have different sets of gadgets which they use to watch videos. In my personal case, I own a smartphone, a tablet, a laptop and a desktop with a huge screen. I generally enjoy HD movies on the big screen but a lot of times I want to transfer these videos to one of my other devices like mobile or tablet. Due to limited storage on these devices, I can’t store full size videos on these devices, so I use some Video Conversion Tools to edit video.
Video Conversion tools not only help me in reducing the size of videos but also help me in cutting and splitting the videos and keeping only the part I want. For example I can keep only that special goal from my favourite match or a particular scene from a movie. Today I will share with you my experience with one such tool – Movavi Video Suite
As you can see in the screenshots, home screen is quite intuitive. You have following 4 sections –
Video section allows you to convert, split and edit videos. If you have DVDs/Blu-Ray discs, you can convert them or you can burn your own discs. If you are a podcaster, you will love the feature of capturing the videos. There is also an option of playing 3d movies, which I haven’t explored yet.
In Audio Section you can convert and create Audio files, burn your own Audio CDs and MP3 CDs. Data section allows you to copy discs and burn your data on discs. Photos section helps you in creating slide shows from your personal images.
Let’s see more details about the video conversion process. The video conversion screen is very simple and very easy to use. First step is to select the source video. As soon as you select that, Movavi video suite will tell you all the details of that video like running time, size on disc, bitrate, resolution and other information. Also once you select the output type, you get details of that too in same screen. See the following screenshot
To convert the video, a lot of handy pre-set formats are already available in drop down list like avi, mpeg2, flv, mkv and many more. If you want to customize all the options as per your needs, just click the settings button and the popup will allow you to customize every possible thing you can think while converting a video.
My personal favourite from above options is saving the video file as mp3. Yep, you have read it right; you can convert your videos into audio files so that you can play them on your iPod or other audio players. Sometimes there are some particular dialogues in a movie, which you want to listen again and again. Some interesting part of a motivational speech which helps you in staying focussed on your work. Keeping these on your audio player is very easy thanks to Movavi Video Suite. Also it can be used to generate slide show from your images.
I would like to point out some of the biggest advantages of Movavi Video Suite
1. Super-Fast: In comparison to other video conversion tools which I have used, I found Movavi Video Suite to be really fast. Until and unless you are using a very old and slow machine, your video conversion will complete in no time.
2. Universal Player: There is an inbuilt universal player in Movavi video suite which can play all the Audio/Video files. You can play both the source files and converted ones. This becomes really handy when you want to check the output of video conversion.
3. Disc Burning Utility: You can use the same application as a normal disc burning utility also. You don’t need to keep a separate application to burn your data discs.
Overall I liked the Movavi Video Suite for its ease of use and smooth design. It’s a real handy application for all those who need to convert videos. You can this from Movavi official site here.
